The Brisbane Service for VV day 2014 will be held on Monday 18th August 2014 at ANZAC Square Brisbane. Those wishing to attend should meet and form up between 1100-1200 at the Treasury Casino, Radacliffe Place, Brisbane Square. March off from Brisbane Square approx. 1200 hrs. with Service completion at ANZAC Square approx. 1300 hrs.

Vietnam Veterans’ Day Monday 18 August 2014
A commemorative service for those who served in the Vietnam War will be conducted on Monday 18 August at Vietnam Veterans’ Place, corner Duffield Road and ANZAC Avenue KALLANGUR. The service commences at 1600hrs (4pm) and concludes 1700hrs (5pm) approximately. Medals and Awards should be worn
Veterans, families and members of the public are welcome.

Caboolture Sub-Branch
The Caboolture Sub-Branch Service for VV day 2014 will be held on Monday 18th August 2014 at Remembrance House, 61 Progress Rd, Burpengary with March Commencing at 1100 hrs. Mr Jeff Korn Parade Master. (Muster & form up at 1045hrs in LJ and HE Buchanan Park- opposite House). Members & Guests arrive at 10.30 & seated by 11am, Dress Code: Smart Casual, Medals to be worn.

Redcliffe Sub Branch
The Redcliffe Sub Branch service will be held on Monday 18 August at Anzac Place opposite the Redcliffe RSL and will commence at 1030 hours
In the event of inclement weather the service will be held in the Redcliffe RSL’s ‘The Point Café, Bar and Restaurant.’
Following the service there will be refreshments and fellowship in ‘The Point Café, Bar and Restaurant’ on the ground floor of the Redcliffe RSL.

Sth Burnett Sub-Branch
The South Burnett sub branch is hosting a memorial service at Hivesville on the 18th August 2014.
Meeting at the Hivesville hotel from 10.00am, forming up at 10.30 to move across to Memorial Park and cenotaph for commencement of service at 10.45 to finish approx 11.10.
The Guest Speaker will be the South Burnett sub branch Patron, Deputy Mayor Cr Keith Campbell.
Hivesville is a small town on the Proston Rd which connects to the Bunya Hwy just north of Wondai or on the southern approach to Murgon.
The Hivesville Hotel will be making lunch available from 11.30 for those wishing to stay on and partake of good country fare at very reasonable prices. Numbers will be required for catering purposes by the 9th August 2014

SUNSHINE COAST
The Sunshine Coast service will be held on Monday 18 August at the Caloundra RSL. Attendees will parade at 1030 hours at the West Terrace end of the Caloundra RSL car park. The short march to the memorial near the rear entrance of the car park will start at 1045 hours with the service to commence at 1100 hours and complete at approximately 1200 hours. Transport will be available for disabled veterans.
Following the service there will be a luncheon in the function room of the Caloundra RSL. The luncheon includes a two course meal, brilliant after dinner speaker and entertainment. For catering purposes tickets need to be purchased early. These can be obtained from Reception at the Caloundra RSL or the VVAASC Drop-In Centre, Library Complex, Beach Parade, Maroochydore.
